Stories Off the Table

One of the intoxicating parts about being a divorce lawyer was meeting people the first time.

Ah, but the sweet feeling of bringing relief to those coming in the first day. THAT is what I will always miss.

During that first appointment, over a series of 2-3 hours, I was able to de-mystify the law and the process. To untie most of the knots that were based in fear of the unknown, and create a plan.

Action always made me feel better, too. I never liked standing around waiting what was coming down the road.

I never failed to tell those at their first appointments exactly what to expect; but I also never failed to tell them what wasn't worth worrying over. And what, given time, would naturally fade away without them having to do anything at all.

I gave them peace of mind, which felt great. It was always that way in the beginning.

Of course, waiting is always the hardest part of any transition. I never did come up with a cost effective way to help with the waiting part.

Until now.

Now, THE most intoxicating part of my Reiki / Accunect work is that every time I see or speak with my Reiki clients, I bring them back to a place of calm where they can focus on their current life plan or just the next step. And I get to see miracles happen.

Every time.

It is astounding to me that, with nothing more than my two hands and a prayer in my heart, I can walk into any situation and bring a little more calm. A whole lot more focus. Sometimes a real 'ah-ha' moment.

Truly intoxicating.

And totally fun to watch.

Thus, this BLOG.

I've decided that I would enjoy sharing the stories of the transformations and progressions as I see them each day.

Because it is intoxicating to watch. Actually, its incredible to witness. I invite you to join me as I travel along the transitions of the people I meet and enjoy the ride.

========================================================

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
